Metrograph sprung up last year in the Lower East Side as a quite and subtle ode to cinema. The theatre plays a slew of 35 mm flicks from cult classics to absurdist films you’ve probably never heard of. This weekend they are putting on two screenings of Rock ‘N’ Roll High School, the 1979 movie that stars the Ramones and Andy Warhol Superstar Mary Woronov. It really shouldn’t take anything more than the Ramones to peak your interest so that’s all from me folks.
Rock ‘N’ Roll High School is playing April 1st and April 2nd at The Metrograph. Tickets and details here.
