Just before festival season gets started, April is a busy, busy month for live music. To get the rainy month started, McLovins are headed to New York City. And, no, this isn’t some outdated reference to Superbad.
Following their 2015 eponymous debut album, the Connecticut rock band just released a new EP, People Say, and they’ll be bringing their classic jams to the Gramercy Theater on April 6th. The four-piece group pride themselves on their extended instrumentations, paying homage to old-fashioned rock bands such as The Flaming Lips and Phish. Joining them will be the blues-inspired Wild Adriatic and hard rock act Denizen.
All ages, $12. Tickets and details here.
