The amazing Queens-based trio Raccoon Fighter have struck again! If you heard their last EP Spiral Flag then you must be very exited, because this weekend they’ll be releasing their newest EP, entitled Hover Craft. Around since 2009 and comprised of New Jersey natives, Sean Gavigan, Zac Ciancaglini, and Gabe Wilhelm, their sound is a mixture of grungy garage and upbeat punk. These guys aren’t messing around–being pioneers of the NYC music scene, they know exactly how to handle their instruments and get a crowd roaring. Luck you, because this weekend they’ll be throwing a free show (w/ Facebook RSVP) on the roof of the Vulcan Room, along with free booze (sponsored by PBR & Sailor Jerry)–The lineup includes: Big Bliss, a DJ set by The Teen Age, and unannounced special guests!
