The first time I listened to Bruno Major was after a pretty depressing date walking through the east village in the rain. This is the ideal set of circumstances under which one should listen. A new kind of synth-crooner, his songs are slow, (mostly) sad, lovelorn, and cinematic. After playing a sold out show at Elsewhere, he played an intimate set in the round at (le) poisson rouge.
