Cerebral Ballzy took over Baby’s All Right this past Monday with a frenzy of grinding distortion, concussive drum work, and speedy, almost-slurred vocals. The band was a flurry of reckless energy, and between their quick, furious songs and intense stage presence, they had the young crowd up and swinging immediately. Alongside English garage rock outfit Palma Violets, Monday’s show was a much needed wake-up call for those who slogged through the start of the week, us included.
