Iceage’s “High & Hurt” portrays an outcast revolution

The cosmic struggle between good and evil has been historically documented, indoctrinated, propagandized, dismantled, used to brainwashed, and ultimately dissect human nature. In Iceage’s newest video for “High & Hurt” directed by Emma Acs, starring the band members themselves and actor Zlatko Burić, the band gets to distract themselves in a waste yard lot dressed as nihilistic angels who enjoy unceremoniously burning wings. Burić can be seen in an apartment building dressed as an angel straight from a Party City photoshoot, acting more Machiavellian and distraught than the band itself and sort of acting as a concert director who is overseeing his little fallen angels performance from afar. There’s always hope for the outcasts, as long as they revolt together — is that good, or is that bad? Watch “High & Hurt” below.

‘Seek Shelter’ is out now.
