In conversation with David Weitzner, Lee Ranaldo, and Nels Cline

David Weitzner has a new book out, Fifteen Paths, exploring our broken society, and the resulting misplaced values, misguided conversations, and imbalanced power structures. Fifteen Paths dives into conversations with various iconic artists for a refreshing and imaginative look at what’s being left out of the dialogue, and what approaches desperately need to take place.

David’s done a small book signing tour to have some of these conversations in person, and was joined at Rough Trade by Lee Ranaldo of Sonic Youth and Nels Cline of Wilco.

The hour long conversation seemed to be over in minutes as the three related their experiences from a lifetime of producing art and music to the topics of capitalism vs socialism, vs simply trading fairly, collaboration, the power of wordless consensus, arguing vs disagreeing and making a connection, and other enlightening explorations.
