The problem with the superhuman courage we get from alcohol is that it’s gone in the morning, along with our pride and dignity. Few things can compare to waking up with the whiskey flu, leaning over to grab water and being shot in the gut by the memory that you tried to make out with your friends ex last night. While some of us have xanax, the rest struggle. Maybe one day we’ll learn to drink gracefully.
