The last time the Jesus and Mary Chain released a new album Seinfeld was on it’s last season, Google had just launched and Bill Clinton’s sex scandal was actually bad for public opinion. 18 years later and the kings of noise pop are gearing up to release a new album, Damage and Joy in March of 2017.
Yesterday the Jesus and Mary Chain just released a new song from their upcoming album titled “Amputation.” The song and vocals are cleaner, crisper and tighter than their discography while still reeking of the 80’s which actually makes sense considering their heyday. Listen below:
