Los Angeles-based band LANY continue to intrigue on their recently released track “Bad, Bad, Bad.” The quick recap? It’s good, good, good. In signature LANY form, the song opens with a medley of catchy beats, smooth vocal,s and an all-around inviting vibe. Through lyrics like “Back to high school love, the kind without the drugs / we were just two city kids,” the synth-pop trio recalls moments of young romance and hazy nights. Basking in nostalgia without getting too sugary sweet is a talent of LANY’s. Their sentimental side never overpowers their cool — instead, both qualities balance one another out blissfully.
