Los Angeles electronic sensation Shlohmo just announced his new full-length, Dark Red, set for release in April via True Panther/WeDidIt, and has, in turn, released the first single from the project. “Buried” is an ominous, forward-moving synth track that sports both haunting grunge guitars and what sounds like live percussion. The tune feels like some sort of electro/shoegaze hybrid, which actually makes sense for an artist known for his affinity for ’90s IDM and R&B. It’s incredibly atmospheric and sets a rather menacing tone for Shlohmo’s forthcoming LP. Check it out below.
