Tennis, Denver’s chillest indie pop group, are returning with their third album in September. The album is titled Ritual In Repeat, and will see release via Communion Records. Fun fact: the duo is made up of Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley, who are married. Nice little family business they got going. The band also have a new song, titled “Never Work For Free.”

It’s a beautiful song that uses a simple mix of drum, synth, and guitar. It has an impressively 80’s air to it, which at least in this listener’s opinion, is still something to strive for. While the concept of not working for free is a good motto to have in life, it’s less used literally here and more for a metaphor for love. Whether it’s in personal or profession life, it’s still pretty good advice to take. Check it out below.
