Anamanaguchi!
Our headliner Anamanaguchi is best known for scoring the video game version of the hit movie Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. On Friday they will provide us with some epic chiptunes reminiscent of childhood days of playing video games and eating sugary candy and junk food way past bedtime. Our night at Brooklyn Night Bazaar won’t be much different. Just look at that picture, don’t they look sooo sweet?
Awkwafina
Don’t be fooled by the giant glasses on the tiny woman — Awkwafina is a force to be reckoned with. The Queens-bred rapper totally owns her moniker and her songs are funny and provocative. Don’t be surprised if she gets you singing along to lyrics like “Awkwafina’s a genius / And a vagina is 50 times better than a penis.” C’mon you know she’s right.
MAXO
Maxo, like Anamanaguchi comes from the land of chip tune. His are created with Super Nintendo sounds and a drum kit. His high energy shows will get you as turned up as drinking, like, 10 red bulls. But don’t do that please.
Alex English
Joonbug calls him “one DJ you want on your flyer.” Naturally, we had to have him on ours. Alex English is not only a household name in New York City’s nightlife scene but also a clear indicator for a badass night.
