I wake up, roll over, and take a sip of water to damper the dry roasting fire that built in my lungs as I slept next to my half eaten burrito. After a moment’s pause, I check my phone. One message: Mom Cell, “Have you found a ‘Paying’ job, yet?” Day ruined. Yes, mom, I found a paying job. I’m the President, of America. I just decided I would keep it a secret from you for a while. Of course, the annoyance of parents varies from individual to individual. Maybe yours go on your Instagram to bellow, “Who are you hanging out with, that person looks like he’s on drugs! #stayinschool” Maybe your parents are cool but just really annoying: “So, what do you think of TayTay writing a letter to Apple? She’s so brave!” Jesus Christ, Mom, stop texting me. Anyway, parents suck, even when they don’t and when they suck, they really blow. So, I present you with this playlist in honor of parents being lame and ask that you throw it on anytime you find yourself trapped in a confined area with them.
