Martin Scorsese’s often-overlooked comedy The King of Comedy will be playing tonight for one night only at Nitehawk Cinema, with a special introduction from Tom Shone, whose recently published book Martin Scorsese: A Retrospective is out from Abraham Books. Based in New York and centered around delusions of grandeur, come see Robert De Niro’s portrayal of aspiring, off-balanced comedian Rupert Pupkin on his quest for fame. Showtime is 9:30pm.
