This dreamy, yet chaotic psych-garage band will get your mind wondering and your blood pumping. Monograms is a Brooklyn-based band that started as a solo project back in 2015 and has now grown into the full band monster it is today.Monograms has been busy playing local shows over the past few months, opening for acts like GØGGS, Sløtface, Ezra Furman, and Juan Wauters! Their sound is a mixture of post-punk and pop-synth–each song with it’s own vibe that engulfs any and all listeners into a trance of stomping along and letting loose.
Their newest EP entitled Silencer is coming out April 21st, but not before an epic release party at Alphaville on the 19th with Bambara, Black Hole Kids, and Fruit & Flowers. We’re very excited to be premiering the brand new single by Monograms, “OK Promises,” which will not only be featured on their upcoming EP, but also on the split 7” with Pink Mexico, out this Friday, April 7th!
