Song Premiere: The Britanys “Blow”

We have the pleasure of premiering the newest single from The Britanys, a young trio straight from Brooklyn touting a brand of lo-fi rock that finds its power in nostalgia and exuberant melodies. Their newest single, “Blow,” comes to you off of their upcoming EP It’s Alright, which drops from Terrorbird Media on September 9th. The track capitalizes on fuzzy distortion and riffs that tip-toe between pop, psychedelic, and rock, and the subtle smugness of Lucas Long’s gravelly, treble-heavy vocal delivery is a surprisingly natural and compelling fit. When he sings, “Remember what it’s like to be sixteen,” we can’t help but commiserate.
