Folk songstress Angel Olsen released a somber, cinematic video for “Windows,” a track off of her most recent album, Burn Your Fire For No Witness. The song’s minimal guitar work alongside Olsen’s melancholy vocals serve to make the barren fields she graces all the more haunting and compelling. Seemingly paralyzed by unknown thoughts or forces, Olsen walks through the countryside and the insides of a charming house in a pronounced daze, observing the giddiness of two carefree yet unexplained little kids. It’s a stunning, introspective snapshot of a life detached.
