This throwback track from Kindness’ most recent album — Otherness — explores ’90s R&B, going back and forth between minimal synth and pop vocals and bigger, layered combinations, with strategic bouts of hip-hop percussion and beats overtaking the groove. It’s as effortless as it is charming, and definitely worth a spin.
