Chicago-based artist Serena Isioma is back with a technicolored funk track, “HUH?”. Switching between a 70s sitcom theme song setup, a cartoon world, and other dreamlike scenarios, Serena grooves along effortlessly, confidently, and seamlessly through each musical transition. Isioma and “HUH?” are featured as part of Vans national pride initiative and appropriately is a sunny and strong call for authenticity. Sitting somewhere between dance party anthem and summertime drive with the windows down, it’s the perfect track at the perfect time. Uniquely themselves, Serena Isioma is making innovative, genre-defying music that should have everyone taking notes.
