Watch: Wet Leg “Chaise Longue”

Ok on the real, though, this is the most excited I’ve been for a band in a minute.

Domino’s latest signees, Wet Leg, have just released their first single “Chaise Longue” — a cheekily monotoned lust anthem that sounds like the love child of Dry Cleaning and Arctic Monkeys. If it had come out in 2006, it would have been on the Marie Antoinette soundtrack without a doubt. The accompanying music video has juxtaposed the lyrical content with a puritan, cottage-core aesthetic that the band’s two members, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, directed themselves.

Outside of the video and single, there is not much we know about Wet Leg. That’s half the fun though, isn’t it? Discovering someone, something brand new to become somewhat obsessed with.

The project will be going on tour in the UK if you’re so lucky to be able to catch them there. Check the dates below.
