Since I also don’t anticipate any school administration getting down with blazing and masturbation, I can’t blame her for the anonymity. Her curious style — part satire, part performance, all wit and skill — is undoubtedly Internet-ready, but with that said, she’s far from what anyone could call a novelty. Whether she’s rapping about Tolkien or her good credit, Boyfriend proves her charisma, intellect, and flow extend well beyond the surface level jokes that dominate her tracks. And it seems like everyone from Huff Post to Perez Hilton agrees.
