Croaker Releases Single “Keep that in Mind”

In a departure from their signature darkwave-influenced sound, NYC based band Croaker picks up the acoustic guitar on their new single, “Keep that in Mind.” Built around a central riff, the track unfolds with a series of synths and distorted guitars echoing the song’s melodic ostinato. The effect is a song revolving around the feeling of waiting for something, if anything, to happen. Croaker’s lyrics sum up the sensation: “Waited in line till I was sober/ Not that it’s right, but it wasn’t easy/ Keep that in mind.”

Croaker debuted “Keep that in Mind” last night at Monobloc’s release show at Goose Garage last night. Now, the single is available on all streaming platforms.
