Since you’re going to be stuck in the house all of today (we know you probably won’t even go down to the corner for coffee on days like this), you’ll need to get out of the house tomorrow—our orders. Good thing Brooklyn’s screechy brutalists Palberta have a record release show tomorrow night.
The show opens with militant fuzz rockers dog, followed by spiritually awoken ‘gangsta folk’ singer Frank Hurricane—you’ll want to come just to experience the maximally opposing differences in sound between these two. After that, Surfbort will be bringing their brand of trash punk out to play. Finally, Palberta’s new album, Bye Bye ‘Berta, will be in full rotation. You can get a sneak peek of the album here in their new video, “Filling Empty / Jaws.”
Bye Bye ‘Berta premieres on Wharf Cat Records tomorrow, February 10th.
