Hi alt citizen community! Me, again. I got to see Pynkie play a set on a rooftop in midtown which was super random, the vibes were something else entirely. I tried asking some questions but loud music nearby sort of screwed up the interview.

Pynkie
My favorite color is… dark, deeeep, royal… blue or something, like… that!

When do you go to sleep?
Pynkie
I usually go to sleep early because I have to wake up early a lot for work. And so it made my body clock make me wake up early.
Theo
What’s the happiest you’ve ever felt?
Pynkie
I feel happier every day, as lame as that sounds.
Theo
What’s your first memory?
Pynkie
First memory is..! I think about this all the time. I also think about the fact that on average, most people’s first memories are from like when they’re three years old. But anyways, my first memory was me in a hot air balloon place where a bunch of hot air balloons were like going up and I was like whoa, this is crazy, what the fuck! And I was like three when that happened because my dad took me on an air balloon when I was three.

Whoa. That’s a good one. Okay, what is music… to you?
Pynkie
Music is the art of time and time plus sound.
Theo
Good. This is a really good interview. What’s… What’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
Pynkie
The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen? Oh shit, I have to think about this.
Theo [to Kelsea]

Pynkie

Theo
Yeah.
Pynkie

Well because, usually that’s more beautiful.
Pynkie
The Grand Canyon and like the night sky when I was in the Grand Canyon also also with all the crazy amount of stars that we can’t see over here.

That is so true. Okay, wait. Music question. How’d you come up with the name Songies?
Pynkie
Songies are songs that are short!.. Sweet!.. And to the point!.. And I’m trying to speak clearly for you!.. I’m talking to your phone! What’s your phone’s name? No, I’m just kidding.
Theo
I think It’s my brother’s name. Okay, last question. Okay, because it’s so.., these take a…, it’s not transcribing well so this is going to take a long time.
Pynkie
Oh wait, I have one more thing to say about Songies! There’s no other album in the world that was ever made called Songies except for mine. As far as I can find.
Pyknie

Pynkie
My night was great… But I got a little too high, nah I’m just kidding, delete that.
Theo

Pynkie
Wait! Wait! Wait! I can say how my night was. My night was great. And it was cool. And the bands that played were really fucking good.
Theo
What was the last band?
Pynkie
Last band was Earth dad. But they haven’t released like any of those songs. I don’t think and they were so good. I was like wow.
Theo
it was a really chill set.
Pynkie
I miss playing with a full band. That was hilarious… Whatever happened back there when I was playing… And I’m sorry, continue.
Theo
Final question. Are you afraid of heights?
Pynkie
…Yes! Whenever I’m like looking down at heights I have to like, I have to crouch on the floor. I want to like lay on the floor. and I have dreams all the time of be being really high up and about falling and sometimes I do fall!
Theo
