Wes Craven’s classic, Scream, is playing this weekend for two midnight showings at Sunshine Cinema (134 E Houston st – F train to 2nd Ave or Delancey/Essex st). I know you’ve seen it, I’ve seen it and if we counted both of us, we’ve probably seen it 300 times. So why pay 10 bucks to see a movie that you’ve already seen?
Cause you probably didn’t get to see it in theaters and you definitely didn’t see it in theaters with a bunch of other people who have seen it 200 times and plan to laugh and yell at the screen like a pack of drunk baboons. I saw Clueless at a midnight showing this winter and it was amazing! There is just a different energy in the theater when everyone there loves the movie. So don’t miss Craven’s classic homage to the slasher flick this weekend at midnight! Buy your tickets here or at the window!
