In “Talon,” the penultimate single from Theft World, NYC based hardcore band Lip Critic captures the feeling of, in their words, “scrolling through hell.” The track bleeds with style, its pulsating synth acting as an alarm for what the band describes as “traversing an absurd and violent world.” Lip Critic’s “Talon” is a maximalist journey into the underworld of social media’s sinister side.
To showcase “Talon” and celebrate the upcoming release of their third album on May 1st arriving via Partisan Records, Lip Critic is playing their final show of the “Theft Saga” series at a local boxing ring.
