Angel Olsen’s Half Way Home, was in this humble writer’s opinion, one of the best albums of last year. This week, She announced a new album, Burn Your Fire For No Witness, on record label of note JagJaguwar While we will have to wait for next year for the new album, We did get a glimpse of what she’s been working on with the new track “Forgiven/Forgotten”. Considering where her last album left off, it’s a pretty large shift in style, with a faster pace than pretty much anything on Half Way Home. Olsen pulls it off admirably though, and what exactly her new album will sound like is intriguing.
