Nashville’s Denney and the Jets are readying their debut for release next month of Burger Records and Limited Fanfare Records. The album is titled Mexican Coke, and it was co-produced by Andrija Tokic (who is best known for his work on Alabama Shakes’s Boys and Girls). It also features Natural Child’s Seth Murray on guitar, specifically on “Mama’s Got The Blues”, a song the released ahead of the album.
You can definitely hear the south in the band’s sound. It’s a classic sound, and has shades of not only southern rock, but The Rolling Stones as well. Those are some pretty good blocks to build on if you are going to make some rollicking rock music. Give it a listen below.
