It’s time to throw out those old, tired holiday hymns for something new and groovy. “I’ll Be Stoned For Christmas” by Dent May relates to dysfunctional families everywhere during the Christmas season. Why listen to nagging parents berate you about still having that dead-end grocery store job or still not bringing a girlfriend home to meet the folks (they want to be grandparents someday, you know) when you can go party with old high school friends you haven’t seen in a couple years? The song is ridiculously catchy, and should be snuck onto Christian radio stations everywhere to rattle some suburban cages. Sweaters and slacks are nothing compared to some green under the tree and a full cup of some extremely potent eggnog. As Mr. May says, “tis the season to get high,” so light up, give thanks, and listen below.
