Take a listen to the latest single by Grim River, “I’m Your Man.” The band, Drew Dominguez (guitar), Alex Rochinski (drums), Aris Schwabe (vocals), and Trey Tyler (bass/guitar) formed Grim River in 2015 and released two singles in 2018. After a long hiatus, they returned with their 2025 EP “Revival,” blending their previous jangly garage sound with a more western and surf inspired sound, partially due to Aris’ sojourn to Tucson Arizona from 2019-2023. Since 2025, they’ve picked up a new member —Joel Kelly, a multi-instrumentalist who primarily occupies the bass role. Now in 2026, the band prepares to unleash something new with a batch of singles that will hopefully lead up to a release by end of year.
The country number, “I’m Your Man” was recorded in September of 2025 at Laurel Road Studios alongside “Smoke ‘Em” —another track on its way to our ears soon. With shows coming up at Nightclub 101, Nublu, and Sultan Room in New York, this is the perfect time to catch the band as they re-emerge onto the scene and offer you something to dance to.
