We love Woods, aka Brooklyn’s favorite psych-folk outfit, so it’s only natural that we’d want to spread the love when their keyboardist, John Andrews, announced release of his debut solo album Bit By The Fang. Recorded in the heart of the Amish country of Lancaster, PA, the LP introduces Andrews’ imaginary back up band “The Yawns” while expanding on the warm, homegrown sounds explored in his other projects. Andrews shared the aptly-titled “Pennsylvania” as our first taste of the album and it’s a pleasant, sun-soaked track that builds to a catchy, horn-laden chorus. Check it out below.
