Listen: Mating Ritual “Toxins”

Mating Ritual’s “Toxins” is an intoxicating track with danceable bass beats and addictive zest. I don’t know how this song hasn’t gone viral yet. It’s a total club track. The type of synth driven, indie-pop that a lot of us have come to fall in love with in recent years. A new-age James Dean song that’s mad with electronic jazz and sexual vibrations. Mating Ritual seemed to come from nowhere, being a fairly new project from “The Valley,” until I realized that it’s Ryan Lawhon from Pacific Air. Why he’s started this new project or what it means for Pacific Air is irrelevant to me. Right now, this track is on repeat and I can’t wait to hear more. Listen below.
