Listen: R O Z E S “Everything”

Lately, when it comes to new artists and bands, it’s all-mystery-everything and, to be honest, this musical wizardry is quite enchanting. The mysteriousness is exciting and the very thrill of it leaves you wanting more. Enter Rozes, Philadelphia’s newest chanteuse cloaked in smoke and sparkle, who just released her first track ever. As far as debut offerings go, “Everything” dazzles.

The song, produced by ARNOLD and Bel Heir, is a true slow-burner, as it enters with pulsing backbeats and Rozes’ soft, angelic voice. Think Tove Lo meets BANKS with lacey layers of Lana Del Rey-inspired strings. It continues on a searing climb toward one simple yet passionate declaration of the heart. “I could’ve gave you everything,” Rozes bellows right before a truly magnificent orchestral drop. At this moment, “Everything” goes from electro-pop to electro-ballad and it’s all really beautiful. Listen, below.
