Back in 2011, electronic artist SBTRKT released his self titled album. It was his first, and to date his only. But maybe we are getting close to something substantial from him, in the harbinger of “Temporary View.” While he did put out an instrumental EP, Transitions, this year, “Temporary View” feels more like what we would expect from him as a producer. It’s a rework of a song from said EP, “Resolute,” in the vein of his first album’s style. It even features one of the main contributors to that album, Sampha. Sampha himself is creating quite a name for himself, appearing on Drake’s last album as well as releasing an EP in 2013. Whether this means SBTRKT is planning on releasing something new or not, we can all agree it’s a pretty cool song. Check it out below.
