Record Store Day is coming up (on April 19). One of the most argued about points for haters or lovers of RSD is the quality and quantity of releases exclusive to that day. Thankfully, we’ve found something this year that everyone will probably agree is worth scouring every record store near you for. It’s called the Space Project compilation, and it features sounds taken from the Voyager space probes and some of our favorite bands like Youth Lagoon, Beach House, Mutual Benefit, Jesu, and so many more.
This track is by one of my personal favorites from Spiritualized. I welcome J. Spacemen’s return to the spacey gospel sound he’s so perfected. This love song just may top that other love song Spiritualized is more well-known for. Listen below.
