Live Show Round Up 2/9 – 2/15

Monday 2/9:

  • Nightclub 101: Yes Ma’am, Ken Park, Victoryland
    • NYC nugazers Yes Ma’am are playing their EP release show for What Do They See at rocknite.ny’s Nightclub101 residency. The band’s music is drawn out and mid-tempo, it evokes a similar sensation to taking a deep inhale.

Tuesday 2/10:

  • National Sawdust: Black Belt Eagle Scout and Mato Wayuhi with Ailani
    • There’s a nostalgic remembrance for being a teenager, reading She Shreds magazine, and listening to Black Belt Eagle Scout. Never forget Soft Stud. Though Katherine Paul’s sound has matured over time, still, the land and sky run through her music.
  • Union Pool: FACS, Autobahn
    • Seeing FACS and Autobahn for free is a privilege. Autobahn’s track 7 Window Still is one of my favorite songs of 2025; it’s so continuous, so alive. Don’t miss this one.
  • Nightclub 101: Why Bonnie, Izzy Oram Brown, Poise
    • Why Bonnie kicks off their prom themed February residency at Nightclub 101 on Tuesday. For the next three weeks, the Brooklyn/Austin-based indie band will be playing all the hits, so throw on your best dress and prepare to sway to Galveston

Wednesday 2/11:

Thursday 2/12:

  • Baby’s All Right: Kristiane, Screenager
  • Public Records: Brutus VIII
    • Brutus VIII is known for his eccentric live shows. The amalgamation of Brutus VIII’s abrasive synth lines and unpredictable energy on stage pair for a memorable night.

Friday 2/13:

  • Elsewhere: ESG
    • ESG is influential in every sense of the word. The late 70s dance punk/funk group’s track U.F.O is one of the most sampled songs in history and artists like James Murphy, Karen O, and Neil Finn have quoted ESG as major influences. Seeing ESG live is a rare opportunity. Take it.
  • Nightclub 101: Camille Blackman, Orca, Lou Salome

Saturday 2/14:

  • Public Records: KatzPascale, The Dream
    • KatzPascale is the cello/saxophone/vocal project of Sammi Katzmann and Jenna Pascal. Expansive and melodic, songs like MOTHER shapeshift, taking on multiple forms.

Sunday 2/15:

  • Cafe Bureau: ideasforconversations, people i love, possum
    • Slacker sundays brings ideasforconversations, people i love, and possum to the stage. If you haven’t listened to ideas new song 14c4, now is your chance. Analog dance music is the new wave.
