As a part of their BOOKS & BOOZE series, Nitehawk Cinema will be screening Dune in celebration of the Folio Society’s much-anticipated edition of Frank Herbert’s classic science-fiction novel of the same, as illustrated by artist Sam Weber. Directed by eccentric genius David Lynch, Dune is a trippy dystopian adventure set deep in space, full of monsters, madness, and rebellion. There will be an introduction by Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Michael Dirda and an afterward by Brian Herbert.
