WAGMAG, the only monthly art guide that exclusively promotes art venues and exhibitions in Brooklyn, is hosting its annual Art Benefit at the Boiler tonight. Our very own Editor in Chief is a proud member of the committee behind the affair, so we can personally vouch for how awesome tonight will be. Enthusiasts, collectors, and artists alike all gather together to celebrate the diverse scene happening in Brooklyn, culminating in a massive art raffle, where you can win your choice of an amazing array of works. So come out say, hi, see all of the incredible art happening right beneath our noses, and hopefully snag yourself a killer piece or two for your personal collection. By the way, this benefit is actually how we were introduced to Brian Leo — so there are definitely plenty of hot discoveries to be made.
There are a variety of different ticket levels you can purchase, each with their own unique perks, and all proceeds go directly to funding the WAGMAG’s operations for the year. All of the art offered in the raffle is worth well more than the face value of admission, so select the one that best suits you:
“The Spectator” — $20.00 Single admission to the benefit reception starting at 7pm (does not include artwork raffle ticket)
Early Bird Raffle Ticket, with Regular Admission — $200.00 Advance Ticket to the 2015 WAGMAG Benefit Artwork Raffle (available only until midnight Sunday May 10, 2015.) Each ticket guarantees an artwork and admission to the benefit evening May 21st at 7pm.
The Collector — $250.00 Tickets after May 10th: Ticket to the 2015 WAGMAG Benefit Artwork Raffle. Each Ticket Guarantees an artwork as well as admission to the benefit evening
The Big Shot — $300.00 These exclusive tickets grant early access for four guests from 6:00-7:00pm with a guided tour and includes one ticket for the artwork raffle (7-9pm). VIP ticket holders will also receive a color catalog with images and descriptions of available works. Proxies available upon request.
The Connoisseur — $1,000.00 This package includes 5 tickets for the artwork raffle (each ticket guarantees an artwork) and admission for 8 (eight) guests to the benefit evening.
The Poacher — $10,000.00 The poacher ticket holder selects an artwork of their choice prior to the first call of the raffle, delivery included! Includes 2 general admission tickets, VIP access and color benefit exhibition catalog. Reliable proxies, representing your interests are available upon request.
