Music Discovery is Everything: A Playlist by Fred Bougrat Ladurelli

French man-about-town, it boy, and true music connoisseur Fred Bougrat Ladurelli has assembled a “Music Discovery is Everything” playlist for your listening pleasure — specifically curated for the long ride home after a big night out.

My first encounter with Fred was at his impossibly cool establishment Chez Jeannette—the kind of place defined by booze-fueled nights, perfect lighting, beautiful locals, and musicians hiding in plain sight. At one point I gifted him a pair of Alt Citizen socks, which he immediately put on as gloves before serving us tequila shots. I remember thinking: some people are just different.

Fred later became part of the French crew that flew in for AC15 with Night #1 headliner Lulu Van Trapp and throughout our six-week run I saw him in the pit night after night — partying with purpose, showing up for artists, and moving through the chaos with unwavering stamina.

Naturally, I’ve enlisted him as an official host and co-producer of the Party Girls Never Die NYC showcase taking over Gigi Paradisco in Paris on June 2, where Valley Latini will make her Paris debut and the beloved Jaie Gon will deliver hybrid DJ sets and live performances.
