Stranded in Los Angeles during COVID with a broken heart and only two new friends, I decided to split and head to Mexico City. I lived there from Dec 2020 to July 2022. Landed as an expat and lived with my best friend Aria. One night I was hanging at a dinner party hosted by some French chefs and met a girl named Angelica who is a brilliant musician. She needed a bass player and I was keen on getting back to playing and making mas amigos. I discovered a whole new side of the city playing music with Niña Diablo in the Mexican punk scene. Local drummer and fast friend Gogo became my go-to new bestie. We talked shit, shared our favorite music, and spent late nights at Torta al Fuego. I love her ! Gogo is now living in Los Angeles, (skating, drumming, booking) and has been sharing her favorite songs and acts from the local scene.
