Rock ‘n’ roll hero Ben Arauz and guitarist of local acts Gnarcissist, Taraneh, Clovis and Pretty Sick has created a playlist of songs he loves because Sharing is Caring and Music Discovery is Everything. The young gun caught my attention more than a few times, especially during AC15. He jumped on stage to dance with me during Swear Tapes‘ set, smoked a cigarette during his guitar solo with Gnarcissists, and is always a complete joy to be around – delivering tremendously as a showmen, musician, and dedicated music lover. Inspired by his zest for life, “little Ben is little me” recently made it into my spontaneous inner monologue reading set (this is very much still a WIP) because he’s high energy, good vibes, and a native New Yorker just like me. Curious to know what he’s listening to these days, I asked him to send me a playlist and here’s what he delivered. Enjoy.
