Nothing’s Wrong And The Kids Are Alright

Nothing’s wrong. In fact, the kids are more than all right. This past Saturday, Party Girls Never Die staged “Nothing’s Wrong” inside Tom Fruin’s legendary art warehouse—a night built for wanderers and dreamers.

Dr. Now, Slowspin, and Slav Sister (the band’s NYC debut) kept the room electric, and Jaie Gon, Promiseland, and Maura Brennan kept the energy surging from the decks. It had that family-affair magic—one of those nights where everyone knows they’ve stumbled into something special.

Those who braved the cold and made it out to Gowanus stepped into a dazzling unknown world: three floors of exploration featuring Fruin’s iconic iron-and-plexiglass sculptures, candles everywhere, mannequins watching from corners, theatrical lights cutting through endless fog, and yes, there was even a swing.

The performers delivered. The party people danced. Drinks were poured, cigarettes were burned, and the night unfolded exactly the way it was supposed to.

Lucky for you, the dynamic duo of Stagemedia captured the night in full so if you didn’t get a ticket, you now know better for next time. Photos below and more on our FLICKR.

Stay tuned for more from Party Girls Never Die. Next year, they’re rolling out a whole new wave of nights built on passion, chaos, and party-time excellence.
