Public Circuit Releases “MODERN CHURCH R//MIX//S”

Today, NYC electronic trio Public Circuit released MODERN CHURCH R//MIX//S, a reworked version of their latest album. Calling up friends from around Brooklyn’s music scene, band members Ethan Biamont, Sean Holloway and Nelson Fisher, tapped Lip Critic, shower curtain, Grumpy, The Wants, smush, ideasforconversations and Crate to reinterpret tracks from Modern Church

Public Circuit notes that creating MODERN CHURCH R//MIX//S was “not only to highlight all our amazing friends, who make amazing music,” but to reimagine their songs, “into all the different worlds we believe they belong to exist in.” Each remix pulls distinct elements out of Public Circuit’s sound, bringing the group’s work to move between electronic music’s many subgenres. Because, at the end of the day, as vocalist Ethan Biamont puts it, “we need to remember what it’s all about: loving electronic music.” This passion is the heart and soul of MODERN CHURCH R//MIX//S.
