During some listless article skimming this weekend, I came across something called The Shriver Report. Intrigued by the headline “A Woman’s Nation Pushes Back From The Brink,” I saved the tab for in-depth reading later on and left it at that. Today, I found out that not only the amazing Maria Shriver was involved in this, but that Queen Yoncé herself wrote a few thoughts down about the myth that is gender equality.
Beyoncé Knowles-Carter doesn’t really say anything too earth-shattering about the inequality between men and women in regards to pay and respect, but to have a world-famous pop star speak out so clearly on this issue is a big deal.
