You’ve seen Frank Ape—a sticker on a lamppost, on the corner of a wall on the Lower East Side, or at an art gallery. The man behind the magic, Brandon Sines, is releasing his new book Lips and Drips at the opening of his solo exhibition this Thursday the 14th. The exhibition will showcase a selection of Sines non-Frank Ape body of work, a mixture of surrealism and dream-like representative painting.
There will be art, the artist himself, drinks (yes, the elusive open bar) and music with shenanigans beginning at 6PM.
