Maxo, chiptune extraordinaire, knows how to craft glitchy, energized tracks, and now he’s set his sights on Life Size Maps, another one of our up-and-coming favorite artists. That said, we’re stoked to bring you “Parasol Life (Maxo Wingmix),” a new, stuttering remix of Life Size Maps’ electronic, pop-punk gem. Straight out of the dizzying digital soundscape from the man beneath the Pikachu hat, this track is a flurry of synthesizers and hyper-distorted vocals, held together by an almost R&B groove. While we love the original, this “Wingmix” is an awesome alternative, chock full of unexpected dynamics and speedy, technical riffs that would make any jazz musician smile.
