Au.Ra, a shoegaze-inspired duo from Sydney, craft songs that flirt with psychedelic ambiance as well as the charm of pop melodies. Repetition is an integral part of their process, but their keen atmospheric layering makes sure their sound is intriguing, enveloping, and warm. In anticipation of their upcoming album, Jane’s Lament, we are releasing their over-saturated video for “Morning,” a track full of swirling guitar tones and sharp, technical riffs. Much like the track itself, the video is most interested in the vibrancy of colors and textures, and explores the artfulness of distorted motion and visuals.
