The Zoltars just released a nostalgic, ’60s-inspired video for “16-17-18 Living,” a charming lo-fi track off of their self-titled LP. Using footage from an anti-drug film released by the Santa Monica Police Department in 1966, the video meshes perfectly with the track’s lyrical narrative, which explores the lives of bored, spoiled kids with nothing left to do but break the rules. The song, made up of equal parts pop, psych, and angst, moves along at a moody yet steady clip, but it’s the bright, swirling choruses that will hook you in and have you out on the grass, staring at the sun.
