Blood Orange, decked out in sleek, blinding white, gets down with his band and an all-female dance crew inside a daytime television studio in his most recent video, “You’re Not Good Enough.” The Cupid Deluxe track finds new life both here and on the recently released soundtrack to the film Palo Alto (inspired by stories from James Franco’s collection of the name) — which explains why Gia Coppola took the reigns as director for this video.

In addition to his trademark, buttery smooth combo of pop, funk, and R&B, the video showcases more of Dev Hynes’s fluid, Michael Jackson-esque dances moves. The man glides just as effortlessly with the group as he does by himself, letting the rhythm grow and flow through him. It’s a sight to see — and so is the celebratory, secret handshake between Hynes and Coppola during the credits.
